• Wave Trough is the lowest part of a wave.
• Wave Height is the vertical distance between the wave trough and the wave crest.
• Wavelength is the distance between two consecutive wave crests or between two consecutive wave troughs.
• Amplitude is the maximum displacement of a point of a wave from its rest position.
