    Boxer went out late one night to drag a load of stone down to the windmill was laying between the shafts of a cart, his neck stretched out, unable to even raise his head;his eyes glazed, his sides matted with sweat and a thin stream of blood trickled out of his mouth. Boxer said in a weak voice, "It's my lung".

    The pigs purchased a barrel of Whiskey. They got the money from the Knacker who took Boxer away.

    His split hoof was still in the process of healing. It troubled him a great deal and he was in pain.
  • Why does Napoleon educate the pigs?
    To get more power to himself and the other pigs.

    Animals would march around in military formation, after there were recitations of poems,a speech from Squealer and sometimes a shot of a gun.
  • How does Napoleon benefit from Boxer's ill condition?
    By selling Boxer to the knacker for which he gets money to buy the whiskey. Then makes up a story about Boxer to make the animals work harder.
