Low Paid

• • May have to be on benefits to be able to survive →could lead to material deprivation as they are still unable to afford resources that they need because benefits may not cover everything
• • Not enough money to afford the necessities (material deprivation) → could have to rely on family/friends → feel like a burden to be continuously asking for help
• • May not be given same opportunities / discriminated which can lead to worse pay and losing employment as well as not getting as many employment opportunities
• • Multiple jobs→ limited hours at home→ neglect→ delinquent children→ this can be mistaken for a lack of interest in the child's education - could also lead to them having to pay for daycare or people to look after their children which is a cost that they can’t afford
