• The purpose of the Conference was to allow the leaders of the victorious powers to meet to decide how to deal with the defeated powers.
• The Conference lasted 1 year, with the Treaty of Versailles finally being signed in June 1919.
• All countries were invited to the Paris Peace Conference, except Germany.
• On June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed at the Palace of Versailles outside Paris, France.
