  • What is Statistical infrequency
    Any relatively usual behavior or characteristic can be thought of as ‘normal’ and any behavior that is unusual is ‘abnormal’

    average IQ is set at 100 - most people have a range from 115 to 85, only 2% have a score below 70. anyone with a high or low IQ are considered to be abnormal

    • no longer conform to standard interpersonal rules e.g eye contact and personal space

    • when behavior becomes irrational or dangerous to themselves or others
