• Data allows a business to identify market trends as it can show data, such as sales of an item over a period of time that may indicate it sells better and therefore more should be stocked at certain periods
• Human generated data is data that is inputted by humans, such as social media interactions (likes, etc), but also user content and surveys
• AI is a computer system that is developed to mimic human characteristics such as being able to analyse data, learn, and solve problems. AI use large data sets to learn from new info and make effective decisions
• Machine learning (ML) is making a computer learn without human intervention, allowing it to independently make decisions
• AI often use data mining, analysing large amounts of data to identify trends and patterns
• AI developments such as natural language processing are allowing machines to understand and interpret human langage
