• Trussell Trust

  Based on Christian principles of ending poverty, Paddy and Carol Henderson set up food banks to provide emergency food supplies to people in need. Originally set up for people in Bulgaria, Paddy received a phone call from a desperate local mother and so started a food bank in his garage.

  Supports whole-person healthcare through the local church. Registered parish nurses visit members of the community. Volunteers are trained to provide support. They support the NHS.
