    • Non-academic, 'practical' curriculum
    • Access to manual jobs
    • For students who had not passed the 11+ exams
    • (Mainly Working-class)
  • What were the features of a Technical school?
    • Specialised curriculum
    • Focused on areas such as: Mechanics, Engineering and Science
    • Less widespread than other types
    • Perceived as less prestigious
  • What system was introduced to replace the Tripartite System?
    The Comprehensive School System
