  • Lamb of God – Jesus was often called the Lamb of God. In Judaism at that time lambs were used in the sacrifice to God.
  • Mary is told she is going to have a baby - Joseph saw an angel in his dream - They had to go through a desert to Jerusalem - they had they’re baby in a farm - Jesus was born - the angel told the shepherds to follow the star above the barn - three kings went to the barn and gave Jesus the presents

    Judas who was one of Jesus disciples did not believe him and sold him to his enemies.

  • The Last Supper:
    Handed out food and water to share. Bread is his body and wine his blood. He gave the food for the others to represent him.
  • Jesus’ arrest:
    He was praying when Judas and his rebellion took him away to go to trial.
  • Trial:
    Jesus told Peter to betray him and leave for his safety. Jesus was beat, mocked, blindfolded and shamed by elders. He was accused about lying about being the Son Of God and disobeying Cesare and was sent to crucifixion. Pilate didn’t want to use the death penalty but the angry crowd forced him.
  • Crucifixion:
    He was beat as he had to hold the wooden stakes that he would be crucified with. He was mocked and stripped of his clothing. Some women mourned what was happening.
  • Atonement – the action of restoring a relationship’ in Christianity, Jesus’ death and resurrection restores the relationship with God and human beings

    Three women went to prepare spices and perfume and came to the tomb to deliver, the boulder was moved and the body was not there, Jesus came back
  • Ascension:
    He revealed himself to two people as they were walking away from Jerusalem, Jesus walked besides them but kept him from being seen, the two men tell Jesus everything over the last three days not realising that they were talking to  Jesus, he told them the true scriptures, he sat at the table in the evening and split bread to share among them which is when the men realised it was Jesus but he disappeared when they looked back at him, he showed himself to all and revealed the truth’
