• Nucleolus - where ribosomes are made
• The nucleus is the control center of the cell.
• Ribosome - site of protein synthesis
• Mitochondria - powerhouse of the cell, produces ATP through aerobic respiration
• Vacuole - stores water, waste products, pigments, enzymes
• Chloroplast - site of photosynthesis, contains chlorophyll
• Cell wall - provides support to plant cells, made up of cellulose
• Nucleus - contains genetic material (DNA) that determines characteristics of an organism
• Endoplasmic reticulum - involved in protein synthesis and transport within the cell

• Digestive system- mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine

• Heart- receives oxygen rich blood from lungs

  Arteries- move oxygen from heat to body

  Veins- return oxygen poor blood to heart, pumping blood to lungs

  Capillaries- connect veins and arteries together, very thin

  • Angioplasty- inflates small ballow to restore blood flow in an artery
