• Undifferentiated cells are cells that have not specialised to perform a specific function
• stem cells are found in early human embryos
• Adults have stem cells however they can only be found in bone marrow and cant turn into any cell only certain ones like blood cells
• Adult stem cells are used to cure diseases
• Embryonic stem cells can also be used to replace faulty cells in sick people
• therapeutic cloning are embryos made of the same genetics so the patient doesn't reject the transplanted cell
• Stems cells in plants are found in meristems and plants can differentiate at any point of their life
• some people are against stem cells as its unethical to use human embryos
