• Habitat Fragmentation is a problem for biodiversity because there's too little space for organisms to survive in
• Invasive Species is the second greatest threat to biodiversity
• Invasive Species - any kind of living organism that is not native to an ecosystem which causes harm
• The three ways that invasive species threaten biodiversity are they prey on organisms, prevents organisms from reproducing, out-compete with the organisms, and carry diseases on them
• Pollution - chemicals introduced into the air, land, or water
• Having high biodiversity is important so that fewer species can depend on just one food source
