Mechanically propelled vehicle
An MPV is a vehicleconstructed so that it can be propelledmechanically by internalcombustionengine, steam or electricity
S.170 Road Traffic Act 1970
Owing to the presence of an MPV on a road or other publicplace, an accident occurs by which -
Personal injury is caused to a person other than the driver of that MPV or,
S.170 Road Traffic Act Part 2
b) Damage is caused -
To a vehicle other than that MPV or a trailer being drawn by that MPV
To an animalother than an animal in or on that MPV, or a trailerdrawn by that MPV
To any other propertyconstructed on, fixed to, growing in or otherwise forming part of the land in which the road or place in question is situated and landadjacent to such land
S.4 RTA Unfit through drink or drugs
A person who, when driving or attempting to drive a MPV on a road or publicplace is unfit to drive through drink or drugs is guilty of an offence
S.2 SOA Sexual Assault by penetration
A person (A) commits an offence if -
Heintentionallypenetrates the vagina or anus of anotherperson (B) with a part of his body or anything else
The penetration is sexual
B does not consent to the penetration, and
A does not reasonably believe that B consents
S.3(1) SOA Sexual Assault
A person (A) commits an offence if -
He intentionallytouches another person (B)
The touching is sexual
B does not consent to the touching, and
A does not reasonablybelieve that B consents

A person consents if he agrees by choice and has the freedom and capacity to make that choice

An interview is the questioning of a person regarding their involvement or suspectedinvolvement in a criminaloffence or offences and must be carried out under caution. Whenever a person is interviewed they must be informed of the nature of the offence or further offences

Behaviour by a person (A) towards another person (B) is domestic abuse if - A and B are each aged 16 or over and are personallyconnected, and the behaviour is abusive

Behaviour is abusive if it consists of any of the following

controlling or coercive behaviour
economic abuse
psychological, emotional or other abuse

Economicabuse means any behaviour that has a substantialadverse effect on B’s ability to - a) acquire, use or maintainmoney or other property, or b) obtain goods or services
A’s behaviour may be behaviourtowards B despite the fact that it consists of conductdirected at another person (for example, B’s child)
Vulnerability
A person is vulnerable if, as a result of their situation or circumstances, they are unable to take care or protect themselves, or others, from harm or exploitation
