• when light is dispersed it splits into seven different colours, red having a lower frequency and longer wavelength to violet which has a higher frequency and shorter wavelength
• radio waves have a lower frequency and longer wavelength
• X-Rays and Gamma Rays have a higher frequency and shorter wavelength
