    Eskers are meandering ridges along a valley floor, formed by meltwater streams in or under the glacier
  • Explain the formation of Eskers?
    They are made up of meltwater sands and gravel. These are sorted by size with large stones at the base of the glacier as they have been deposited first, and smaller stones furthest from the glacier.
