Osmosis

• Hypotonic - more water outside then inside, water moves from outside to inside. Cell swells,
• Hypertonic - More water inside the cell then outside, water moves inside to outside. Cell shrinks
• Isotonic - Same amount of water inside and outside the cell, water moves continuously. Cell stays the same
• Osmosis - transport of water molecules from a high concentration to a low concentration.
