    Turning point at Falkirk. Began the age of the longbow for the next 150 years. English were struggling to break through schilltrons, edward decided to fire 500 longbows like rain on top of themLack of armour meant that arrows impaled the scottish infantry menAs gaps appeared in the walls of scottish pikes, the English cavalry were able to charge at Scottish lines. Wallace's troops fled.
