  • made up of haber and past participle (ado/ido)
  • ado is used for ar ending infinitive verbs and ido is used for er/ir ending infinitive verbs
  • used to say what has happened or what someone has done
  • pronouns: he (i have), has (you have), ha (he/she has), hemos (we have), habeis (you plural have), han (they have)
  • examples: he hablando (i have talked), has comido (you have eaten), ha vivido (he/she has lived), hemos estado (we have been), habéis sido (you have been) han ido (they have gone)
