  • Binary = Information for which only two answers are possible
  • Bit = Binary Digit - Represented as a 0 or 1
  • CSV = Abbreviation of “comma-separated values, this is a widely-used format for storing data in files
  • Hypotheses = Proposed explanation for some phenomenon used as the basis for further investigation.
  • Moore’s Law = The observation that computing power roughly doubles every two years
  • One-pager = A business/corporate term for a one-page document that summarizes a large issue, topic or plan.  The purpose is to distill and highlight the most important pieces of information in a digestible manner so that the reader can be quickly acquainted with the relevant details of the “big picture.”
  • Prototype = A preliminary sketch of an idea or model for something new. It's the original drawing from which something real might be built or created.
  • Simulation = A program which replicates key features a phenomenon in order to assist investigations of its behavior without the associated cost, time, or danger of running an experiment in real life
