did work somewhat
weimar government and trade unions told berlin not to support rebellion and asked them to strike. after 4 days kapp fled as he didnt have support from weimar and workers. right wing uprisings most important as they had military powers which had ability to force change

why?wanted to overthrow government, new regime on anti-communism, Tov and hyperinflation
what? 9th november 1923 hitler and 600 SA burst into beer hall taking leaders of a region of germant (bavaria) hostage to start revoluton. 2000 armed nazis march towards a military base, shots fired and 14 nazis killed

11th november 1923 hitler arrested and nazi are banned from politics. hitler and ludendorff placed on trial for treason. hitler makes speech attacking wimar government which judge agrees with. sentenced 5 years only served 9 months. not a success but many agreed with political views including major military power
