• gibberellin is another type of plant growth hormone, stimulates seed germination, stem growth and flowering
• lots of seeds wont germinate until they have been through certain conditions, this is called dormancy. seeds can be treated with gibberellin to alter dormancy and make them germinate at times of the year they wouldn't normally. helps seeds germinate at the same time
• plants can flower with gibberellin treated, without change to environment. can grow bigger flowers
• grows larger fruit. seedless fruit sometimes don't grow as big . adding gibberellin to fruits makes them grow bigger
