Lathe

• Before using the centre lathe, ensure the power is off and load the material securely into the chuck, using the chuck key and remove it before turning the lathe on.
• Place the correct tool into the tool post and set it at the correct height.
• Set the speed of the centre lathe correctly for the material and process you are using.
• Place the guard down into position.
• Test the stop and emergency stop buttons.
