• The tempo of badinerie is allegro, and it’s remains at that until the very end, when a slight rit is implemented
• There is an anacrusis used before the majority of the phrases in the piece, most notably at the beginning of motif x and y and the start of each section
• Through the use of tied notes in motif x Bach creates a feeling of syncopation
