• By October 1929 The USA stock market collapsed causing Germany Economic problems. This was known as the wall street crash

• The USA withdrew their loans made under the dawes plan
• in 1932 6,000,000 Germans were unemployed
• farmers food fell in price so they couldn't sell well
• factories shut and employers were forced to lay off workers, leading to a rise in unemployment
• The best way for political parties to win votes was to offer solutions to the problem
• The Nazis Offered solutions to economic issues
• People turned to extreme parties for help
• Hitler Lost the election to Hindenburg in 1932
• Hitler gained 13 million votes
• there were many nazi posters
• in the early 1930's the Nazis owned 120 newspapers that were read by over 100,000 people
