Hitler and 600 stormtroops stormed into a beer hall and forced everyone to agree to rebel. He then let them go and took over the army headquarters and the offices of the local newspaper.
What happened on the second day of the Munich Putsch?
The next day, 9 November 1923, Hitler and the SA went into Munich to take power. There was a short scuffle in which the police killed 16 members of the SA. Hitler fled but was arrested two days later.
