titrations

• 1dm^3 = 1000cm^3
• 1. fill up the burette with acid and fill up the bulb pipette with alkali using a pipette filler.
  2. Release the spring on the pipette filler allowing the alklai to run into a conical flask.
  3. add 4 drops of indicator into the conical flask.
  4. measure the start volume in the burette.
  5. place the flask under the burette and open the tap. While doing this swirl the flask.
  6. tighten the tap as you get closer to the end value to get a precise value. Turn off the tap when there is a constant colour change.
  7. record the end volume and repeat until concordant results.
