  • Some literary works with undesirable content were banned by the nazi government, much like how Gilead restricts books for women.
  • In Nazi Germany, children were torn away from the 'undesirable' and given to nazis, similar to how Offred's child was ripped away from her as she was considered sinful as she had a relationship with a married man.
