Distance Time Graph

• In a distance-time graph, a straight diagonal line moving up shows that the object is moving at a constant speed.

  
• The steeper the diagonal line, the faster the object is moving.

  
• The flat line shows that we came to a complete stop.

  
• Time is passing, but the object is not traveling any distance if the line is straight

  
• After a stop, you will have to start over in counting time and distance
