• Social development is how an individual interacts with those around them
• Between 0-3 months a baby will respond to touch (SOCIAL)
• Between 3-6 months a baby will begin to play with people (SOCIAL)
• Between 6-9 months a baby will seek attention (SOCIAL)
• Between 9-12 months a baby will mimic simple actions (SOCIAL)
• Between 1-2 years a baby will show frustration easily (SOCIAL)
• Between 3-5 years a child will become more co-operative with adults and will like to help (SOCIAL)
• Between 6-9 years a child become more aware of their own gender (SOCIAL)
• Between 10-12 years, children will want to fit in with peer group rules (SOCIAL)
• Between 13-15 years old a teenager will complain about a lack of privacy (SOCIAL)
• Between 16-19 years old a teenager will be more self assured (SOCIAL)
• Between 20-45 years old an adult will become a parent (SOCIAL)
• 65 years + a later adult will have the pleasure of having grandchildren (SOCIAL)
• Between 46-64 years old an adult will adjust to the possibility of retirement and lifestyle change (SOCIAL)
