  • Andreas Vesalius was an anatomist who studied in Paris and then became a lecturer at Padua University in Italy.
  • Vesalius was able to complete dissections of criminals where he could observe internal parts of the body despite being looked upon
  • By completing dissections Vesalius noticed the human jaw was only one bone, not two. And blood is diffused through the septum not flowing (Like galen thought)
