• Jade wants to feel comfortable in her own skin. She wants to be able to not worry about not looking “ghetto”. 
• Jade feels sad about the Natasha rasmey incident.
• Jade envys Sam for being able to go to costa rica and takes some of her anger out on her. 
• Jade, Lee Lee, and Andrea freeze at the sight of a police officer pulling over a black woman. 
• Maxine and Jade talk about having to deal with assumptions from others in St. Francis on the walk in the Esplanade. 
• Maxine struggled with trying not to be “too black”. 
• Woman to Woman do their first Money matters workshop, hosted by Bailey thanks to Jade’s recommendation.
• Jade’s other recommendation also gets accepted by visiting Maxine sister’s (Mia) art gallery to learn about entrepreneurship.  
• Jade asks Mia for an internship at the art gallery.
• Sabrina asks Jade if she could have one of her art pieces in an auction Jade says yes and is very excited. 
• Jade receives many business cards from wealthy people that want to support her art. 
• Mia takes up Jade and Lee Lee’s poetry exhibit with open arms and even asks some professionals for help.
