nature refers to the behaivoral and biologicalfactors that influence the development of a person. our genes will decide how we develop, what we looklike, and how we behave.
innate - born with that characteristic meaning we cannot change it (linked with nature).
nurture refers how the environment influences our development and behaviour. this includes the influence of our upbringing, our friends, diet and lifeexperiences (both good and bad).
most of the way our brain forms is due to nature(instructed by our genes and DNA, but not completely. the pregnant mothers lifestyle can affect brain development:
smoking: affects the size of the brain aswell as the body because nicotine in cigarettes slows down brain growth
infection: infections such as rubella/german measles often lead to braindamage, especially hearingloss if infected in the first 20 weeks.
