  • Social change is when the majority of a society change their beliefs,values and behaviours. eg; accepting the earth is round not flat, reduced smoking in public places
  • Attention- Making people listen by getting it personal and them connecting.
  • Consistency- Commitment and message shows message and intent.
  • Deeper processing- Get people to consider whether what is happening now is ok.
  • Augmentation principle- Decision as to act despite the consequences or the decision not to act out.
  • Snowball effect-People add to the minority bit by bit and the minority becomes the majority
  • Social cryptomnesia- people know that change occurred but cant remember how or when
