Concrete Operational Stage

• The concrete operational stage occurs from age 7-11 years old.
• By the age of 7, children are able to show conservation and no longer show egocentrism.
• At this stage, they develop operations, which are better reasoning abilities than young children.
• However, these operaitions can only be applied to figurative and concrete concepts. Children at this stage lack abstract thinking. For example, they wouldn't be able to reason about abstract concepts such god.
