Edward IV- 1st reign

• Richard, duke of gloucester married Anne Neville in 1472
• Anne was the daughter of Richard, Earl of Warwick (the Kingmaker)
• The Battle of Barnet was April 1471.
• The events of Battle of Barnet were starting with bad weather (foggy). There was a Yorkist victory, where Warwick and Montagu killed.
• The Battle of Tewkesbury was in May 1471.
• The events of the Battle of Barnet started with a Lancastrian army led by Margaret of Anjou. There was a Yorkist victory, where the Lancastrian Prince Edward was killed and Queen Margaret captured.
• Edward IV was restored to the throne on 21st may 1471.
• After Henry VI's death, Margaret of Anjou was captured after battle of Tewkesbury was kept in tower for a few years. She was exiled to france until her death in 1482, she died in poverty.
• Henry VI died 21st May 1471. He was imprisoned in the tower of London and was put to death on Edward's orders. The Duke of Gloucester implicated in execution.
• New creations was Edward's patronage policy where new distributions of titles. Titles often came without reward.
• Henry VI was restored to the throne in in October 1470 and was later deposed on May 1471.
• Edward IV was deposed in 1470.
• French-Yorkist-Lancastrian-Neville alliance included Earl of Warwick, Margaret of Anjou, Duke of Clarence and Louis XI.
• The Thomas Cooke Affair was in 1468 where Edward was allowing lawlessness. Woodville family acting lawlessly, dominated the marriage-patronage enraging Clarence.
• Edward IV 1st reign ran from 1461-1470.
• Edward IV married Elizabeth Woodville in 1464.
• The battle of Hexham was in May 1464.
• The Battle of Hedgeley Moor in April 1464.
• The Battle of "Lose Coat field" was in 1470.
