• A persuasive texts only purpose is to persuade the reader to accept the authors opinion.
• The persuasive text is to let the reader see your feelings, beliefs and thoughts.
• A claim is statements that set a debatable positon.
• A position is either pro or anti in a topic.
• A Counter claim is used to express disagreement with an argument or a previous claim.
• Facts are statements that are true and not up for debate.
• An Argument is expressing your opinion or point in presenting your reasons and evidence.
• Prewriting it a process before creating your text.
• Drafting is about a process of discovering an idea or argument.
• Revising is making structural changes.
• Editing is correcting your error in your text.
• Publishing is Shairing your finalized Text.
• Factual persuasive text is using factual evidence to persuade someone.
• value persuasive speech is Morality of the topic. and knowing what is right or wrong
• Policy Persuasive speech is about to support or reject a policy, rule or Bill.
• Ethos means Character. thus Ethos is the authority or credibuility of the speakers
• Pathos means emotions or feelings thus, it is the emotional appeal of a text.
• Logos is Logic and reasoning or appeal to logic.
• Recognizing Bias is identifying the authors ethos by its bias.
• Bias is one things one's odea, beliefs etc.
• Biased against something is negative or you don't side with the person.
• Bias of something is positive or you side with the person.
