• Cables used for connecting audio interface, microphones, studio monitors and different instrument
• Condenser or dynamic microphone converts sound into electrical signal
• Computer unit processor should be reasonably fast enough to record, edit, mix, store, and master a copy of the sound
• Digital audio software used for playing some digital instruments, recording, adding effects, and mixing different sources of sound signals.
• Audio interface microphone and musical instruments are plugged into this, which in turn is connected to the computer
• Studio monitor commonly known as speakers but these give a sound close enough to the real sound input
• Headphone used referencing or for checking what the mix would sound like on the equipment
