Oral Communication in Context Quarter 2 (Week 1) Module 1: Audience Analysis discusses the factors or areas to consider in analyzing the audience as a preparation for making a speech.
The module also includes a pretest to determine the audience's educational background, affiliations, nationality, economic status, academic or corporate designations.
If the speaker does not personally know the audience and does not have the opportunity to observe them up close, they may use audience analysis tools to gain insights into the audience's values, beliefs, and interests.
After the interview, a speech should be prepared about the kind of business to be put up, the likelihood of people patronizing it, and the reasons for believing so.
To conduct an audience analysis, it's helpful to list down the things that will be done to help decide on the kind of business to establish or put up in a certain area.
Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior in a given context, including values, beliefs, attitudes, preferences, cultural and racial ideologies, and needs.
