  • Closed or Simple Fracture: Broken bone doesn't penetrate the skin
  • Greenstick Fracture: Incomplete Fracture on the axis of the bone
  • Fissured Fracture: Incomplete longitudinal break
  • Spiral Fracture: Excessive twisting a bone like arm or leg
  • Comminuted Fracture: Shattered into many pieces
  • Transverse Fracture: Runs perpendicular to the long axis of the bone
  • Oblique Fracture: Splits at an angle to the long axis of the bone
