  • A prokaryotic cell has cytoplasm and cell membrane surrounded by a cell wall. Their genetic material is not enclosed in a nucleus but in a single DNA loop. Sometimes has small plasmids but always no mitochondria. And example is a bacteria cell
  • Cell division allows an organism to grow and repair damaged tissue. It also enables reproduction so new individuals can be produced from one parent. There are two types of cell division - mitosis and meiosis.
  • The human body contains trillions of cells that are specialised to carry out different functions. The cells work together to make up tissues which then form organs. Organs combine to create systems like the digestive system or circulatory system.
  • What’s a prokaryotic cell
Genetic material not enclosed in a nucleus but in a dna loop. Has cytoplasm, cell wall/membrane and plasmids E.g bacteria cell
