    • Require many months of rehabilitation

    • Spinal cord injuries in the neck and pulling injuries -> can injure the roots of the brachial plexus
  • Injuries to the brachial plexus:
    • Severe trauma to the first rib -> can injure the trunks
  • Injuries to the brachial plexus:
    • Dislocation of the glenohumeral joint -> can injure the divisions and cords
