  • Reproducing the necessary skills
  • Reproducing the ruling class ideology to create a false consciousness
• Althusser

  By teaching children to accept the different roles awarded to different people (e.g. prefects, top set, bottom set) children grow up into adults who do not question the social class differences and inequality.
