• Netforce is the combination of network, force, and net
• Energy is the ability to do work
• Work is a force exerted over a distance
• Work = Force x Distance
• If the gravity force equals the normal force then it cancels each other out meaning the answer equals 0. Therefore, object does not move and moves at a constant speed
• If force adds to a non-zero value, then the object is accelerating
• Force = mass x acceleration
• Newton's second law states the acceleration of an object depends upon two variables - the net force acting on the object and the mass of the object.
