Stakeholders

• Stakeholders are groups that have an interest in the success of the business.
• There are two types of stakeholders - internal and external stakeholders.
• Examples of Internal Stakeholders: Owners; shareholders; managers; employees.
• Examples of external stakeholders: Consumers; suppliers; government; competitors; local community; pressure groups (groups of people who get together to object government plans, business decisions, etc)
