Despite the feminist movement striving towards greatness, the equality of the sexes, we must also recognise the flaws of it.
Some would argue that inequalities also exist within the feminist arena, for example, black and ethnic minority feminists are fighting for equality, believing that their plight is overlooked by other feminist groups.

“Mainstream” feminists may focus primarily on gender or sex whereas intersectional feminism understands that systems of oppression impact people differently based on their race, class, ability, sexuality, and others.
