RAPE, CHILD ABUSE AND ELDER ABUSE

• RAPE- crime of violence and humiliation of the victim expressed through sexual means. Sexual intercourse with female against her will, without consent,fear,drug or with mental illness and below the age of consent.
• The crime of rape is requires only slight penetration of the outer vulva, full erection and ejaculation are not necessary .
• Male RAPE- occur between gay partner or stranger but mostly in institution such as prison or maximum security hospital. This particular rape is violent and the dynamics of power and control as the heterosexual rape.
• 1. Types or Male Rapists: Sexual Sadists, Exploitive predators, Inadequate Men, Men for whom rape is displaced expression of anger and rage
• Sexual Sadists - men who are aroused by pain of victims.
• Exploitive predators - impulsively used their victims for object gratification
• Inadequate Men - believe that woman should voluntarily have sexual relations with them; obsessed with fantasies about sex
• Men for whom rape is displaced expression of anger and rage.
• First Action of Rape Victim. : Complete Physical Assessment ( should done before victim has showered or brushed teeth, change clothes or undergone douching){to preserve evidence of the crime.}
• Child Abuse - maltreatment Or intentional injury of a child.( Physical abuse, neglect or failure to prevent harm, failure to prevent adequate physical and emotional care. Abandonment, sexual assault and over torture or mainming.
• Child Abuse always perpetrated by father/step father, uncle, older siblings and live in partner of child's mother more common as father -daughter incest.
• ABUSED CHILDREN often become depressed, suicidal,suffer marital problem in adulthood.
• Physical Abuse - such as corporal punishment, children will show scar, multiple fractures, multiple bruises during physical assessment.
• Sexual Abuse - incent,rape, sodomy, rubbing/fondling,exposing the adult 's genita to the child.
• Neglect - malicious or ignorant withholding of physical, emotional and educational support to the child
• Psychological Abuse - blaming, screaming, constant family discord, withholding affection love and nurturing, exposure to alcoholism,drug abuse or prostitution.
