Family : New Right - Dennis and Erdos

  • Dennis and Erdos
Dennis & Erdos (2000) wrote 'Families without Fathers' explaining that fatherless children are less likely to be successfully socialised into the culture of discipline and compromise found in nuclear families. They are also less likely to be successful parents themselves. They suggest that this is particularly important for boys who then grow up without the expectation of responsibilities to wife and children, resulting in immature, anti-social young men.
