    Types of force
    1.Contact Force - a type of force that result's from direct contact between two surfaces.
    Ex. Catching the ball / Friction
    2.Noncontact Force - is a force that does not involve direct contact.
    Ex. Gravity
  • Friction - is a contact force that is present whenever the surfaces of two materials are in contact with each other. It is the force that resists the movement of the materials over another.
    • The attraction of the particles of two materials when their bumps and hallow rub against each other.
  • *a smooth surface produces less friction.
    *a rough surface produces greater friction.
