Color Codes: A system of colors that indicates the electrical value of a component or identifies the terminals and leads.
Bands: Describes the energy that electrons have and are responsible for the explanation of the electrical properties of a material.
Tolerance: It is the percentage of error in the resistor's resistance, or how much more or less you can expect a resistor's actual measured resistance to be from its stated resistance.
Multiplier: The third band is called a Multiplier, which means the number of zeros you add after the first two digits to get the Ohm value (example: brown = 0).
VoltageDrop: Voltage drop' is a reduction in voltage between the initial power supply's 100% voltage, across all or part of a circuit.
Excessive voltage drop can make your lights flicker or burn dimly.
