    But Taft is less-liked than Roosevelt

    Roosevelt get's more votes than Taft but Wilson wins overall

    • Ends Dollar Diplomacy
    • Reduces tolls on Panama Canal
    • Jones Act - 1916, Promises the Philippines their independence
    • US sends military into Haiti because of violence and Haiti becomes a protectorate of the US
    • Purchases the Virgin Islands
    • Mexico (with help of the US) overthrows their President and replaces him with Victoriano Huerta
    • Leads to many Mexicans moving to America but America hates that
    • Pulitzer and Hearst (who both owned land in Mexico) write about this a lot
    • Wilson fires Ambassador who helped Mexico and places and embargo
    • US aids rebels like Pancho Villa; Huerta resigns and is replaced by guy the US likes more
    • Pancho doesn't like the guy who replaces Huerta so he comes into America (Texas) and kills Americans (Tampino Incident)
    • Wilson sends John Pershing to Mexico to take out Pancho but the whole things fizzles out because Pershing needs to join WWI
